The Advising Offices are now on the third floor of Carr House.
When it comes to Advising issues, your Faculty Advisor or your Department Head is the best place to begin. (Your Faculty Advisor is listed on the top left side of your Program Evaluation on WebAdvisor.)
If you have issues that fall beyond the scope of your departmental advisor or you simply wish to speak with someone outside your department, we can help you clarify any issues you want to address and help you find your way to the best solution.
We also support the advising process in each major by consulting with the department heads, faculty, Registrar, and other RISD offices (International Programs, Multicultural Affairs, Student Affairs, and Student Development.)
